Why volunteer at Enham Trust
What are the benefits of volunteering for Enham Trust?
Give the gift of your time to supporting disabled people to live the lives they choose.
Volunteering for Enham Trust is so much more than simply giving something back to your community or giving your time to supporting people who really need it; volunteering for Enham Trust is…
- Building up your C.V.
- Increasing your confidence
- Supporting you to gain new skills
- Helping you focus your goals, and aspirations
- Bringing you closer to your local community
- Supporting you to refine your communication skills
Even if you only have an hour a week to spare, the difference it can make is amazing. You can choose to help out by sharing your interests or a particular skill; with administration tasks, assisting our Information, Advice & Guidance team, tutoring with Enham Trust’s Skills2Achieve programme or even driving one of our vehicles.
You could even become involved by talking about our work through our Ambassadors' Scheme or supporting a disabled person directly in our Buddy Programme.
And if you’re not sure exactly what you want to do? Why not drop us a line or come and visit us, and together we can see how best to utilise your skills, enthusiasm, and interests in a way that works for you.
Your vital support can assist us to ensure disabled people are empowered to gain choice and control over their daily lives; living a full life each and every day, as independently as possible. The first step is to contact us to talk about volunteering and the opportunities we have available; to help you get a flavour of what we can offer you, what you’d like to do, and what we can support you to achieve.
