Enable a young lady to live independently in the community, in her own home, by helping her with Personal Care and light duties. Young lady, uses an electric wheelchair to mobilise. Suffers from Fibromyalgia, Diabetes, Chronic back pain. Lives in a bungalow within a quiet neighbourhood with her elderly Father.
Monday - Friday
8.15 to 9.15am (Thursdays: 7 - 8am term time only)
5 to 5.30pm
7 to 7.30pm
or 5 to 6pm
2 more hours possible.
Morning call: Detach and empty night Catheter bag. Help get out of bed (no lifting or hoisting involved); Help with Washing, Dressing, Breakfast, Medication administration and Get ready for the day. Prepare light snack for lunch. General tidy up of home.
Tea call: Medication administration. Prepare and give a cooked meal. Wash up
Bed call: Help undress and into bed. Attach night catheter bag. Prepare light supper/drinks. Medication administration. General tidy up.
Occasional duties: Change bedding and remake. Put washing out/in
