Jack: Why I work for Enham Trust
I started working for Enham Trust in October 2016, as a Digital Marketing Assistant. Ever since I have joined, I’ve enjoyed every minute of it! I love the fact that the work we are all doing will somehow change a person’s life for the better, and this is a massive motivation for me.
Before I joined Enham Trust, I hadn’t heard much about it. However when I came for my induction day, I was amazed by the amount of services we offer. These services ensure disabled people are supported to live as independently as possible, and to get the chance to work somewhere that has such a positive impact… well, that was a no-brainer!
This was the first ever time I have worked in the charity sector, so I was really excited to start working somewhere that makes such a difference.
I also really enjoy the working environment here at Enham Trust. The staff are lovely and very welcoming, which made me feel really comfortable when I first joined.
A year on and I have made some really close friends, and lots of great working relationships.
I have also had the chance to work closely with a lot of the clients, which is amazing. You can really tell from the stories they tell, with a smile on their face, how much of a difference Enham Trust makes, and supports them on their journey to independence. It’s something that never fails to make me smile!
