This event actively welcomes everyone; all ages and all abilities can take part! There are five distances to choose from: 10k, 5km, 1km, Super Sensory 1k and 100m. Run it, walk it, push it, be pushed. Anything goes. Have you got what it takes?
Parallel London offers an opportunity for anyone to take part in an event at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London on Sunday 3 September. Last year 3,012 people took part and over 5,500 people attended the free family festival in the inaugural year.
Parallel London is a push/run with an emphasis on fun. Everybody will be given time to finish the race and you will be provided with a free chip timer so you know your time to beat next year! A free t-shirt will be yours too! Participants who have buddies to push them around the course can be any age. Here are the minimum age guidelines for those without a push buddy:
100m = 1+
1k = 6+
5k = 9+
10k = 13+
All kinds of mobility aids are welcome on the course and all participants who need a helping hand are invited to bring a buddy to accompany, guide or push them, free of charge.
This event suits everyone! You can sign up with the whole family and encourage your friends to join you too.
An adult place requires a registration fee of £20 and a child (5-16 years) is just £10 registration (under 5’s can take part for free with a full paying adult). Each registration must pledge to raise £150 for Enham Trust.
To sign up for Parallel London simply pay a £20 registration fee to Enham Trust and pledge to raise a minimum of £150 for Enham Trust.
The spaces are limited for this event and we anticipate this being a sell-out event, so sign up without delay
