Vitacress raises almost £600 for Enham Trust as Charity of the Year for 2017

Vitacress - one of Europe's leading suppliers of fresh produce, specialising in watercress, salads and fresh herbs – has raised a total of £584.91 for leading disability charity Enham Trust.

Chosen as Vitacress’s Charity of the Year for 2017, the Hampshire-based company held a number of internal and external events for Enham Trust; engaging staff and the local community in their fundraising efforts with cake and chocolate bar sales, local flower shows, and raffles throughout last year.

Hannah Leicester, Head of Income Generation at Enham Trust, said of the generous gift:

“We’re really grateful to the team at Vitacress for supporting us in this way – not only raising vital funds for our cause, but also awareness for our work within the local community.”

Throughout the year, Vitacress also enjoyed several corporate volunteering days at the Trust – undertaking a variety of tasks, such as tending to the charity’s Christmas tree field in the lead up to the festive period.

All funds raised by the company go towards Enham Trust’s ongoing work; supporting thousands of disabled people across the country each year in the key areas of their lives by providing housing, care, and various employment & skills opportunities to ensure each customer gains independence, choice, and control over every aspect of their lives.
