Forthcoming Andover Radio teams up with disability charity Enham Trust
Radio Enham Team up with Andover's community radio station
Andover Radio – Andover’s very own community radio station – has teamed up with leading disability charity Enham Trust, as part of an ongoing partnership; which will see the two organisations working together to deliver local news & entertainment to the residents of this vibrant and versatile town.
This exciting new partnership will allow the forthcoming Andover Radio a viable base through which to broadcast – firstly online, and then through FM airwaves – as the radio station evolves; supporting the charity’s own existing online radio station: Radio Enham.
The venture will also enable Radio Enham’s current participants – a team of the Trust’s disabled clients – more opportunities to develop their skills in presenting, research, and overall radio production.
We’re delighted to be working with Enham Trust & Radio Enham to deliver local radio to the people of Andover.
It’s really important to us to work with local businesses and organisations in the area, such as the Trust, to create something valuable for the town; whilst supporting disabled people to gain new skills and live as independently as possible.
-Andover Radio’s David Harber.
Currently, Enham Trust supports over 7,500 disabled people across the country in the cornerstone areas of their lives – providing housing, care, and employment & skills opportunities to ensure their clients live lives of choice, control, and independence.
