Free equipment for everyone booking Move Training in 2018!
A free piece of equipment for every organisation booking Move Training in 2018!
The Move Programme has teamed up with Jiraffe – one of the country’s leading disability equipment providers – to provide a brilliant offer for all organisations undertaking training in The Move Programme in the year 2018;
For every school or centre booking in-house Move Training in 2018, Jiraffe will donate any piece of Rifton equipment from the entire range that the organisation chooses, absolutely free, making the Move Training even better value for money!
The Move Programme makes a difference to the lives of thousands of children and their families across the country by training schools and organisations in The Move Programme.
Move is a six-step functional mobility programme; helping children and adults to learn the vital skills of sitting, standing, walking and transferring, empowering them live the most independent life possible.
When individuals begin practicing these skills, they will need equipment that provides them with enough support to enable movement while they build the strength and muscle control needed to do it on their own. This means the type of equipment provided by Jiraffe is vital in centres working with physically disabled people; yet many organisations struggle to fund the equipment.
From enabling a person to stand, to helping them walk around their environment by themselves, the Rifton equipment from Jiraffe supports disabled people to achieve greater independence and functional movement. By offering a free piece of equipment to every centre, this can have life-changing effects on people’s lives, often meaning they no longer have to be confined to a wheelchair.
By providing a free piece of equipment to every organisation booking Move Training this year, we are excited to help even more people to reach their dreams of moving independently.
This offer is only available in Engalnd, Scotland and Wales.
