Golf Day Raises £3500 for Enham Trust!
Golfers tee off for Enham Trust
Leading disability charity Enham Trust teamed up with the exclusive Sandford Springs in Kingsclere on 29th September to offer enthusiastic golfers of any ability or experience the chance to participate in an energetic golf day, in aid of the charity’s vital cause.
The day-long event, which saw teams of 4 compete in 18 holes of golf; complete with filling breakfast on arrival, and 2 course dinner on completion, not only gave participants the opportunity to enjoy a full day of autumn fun with friends & colleagues, but also gave them the chance to learn more about the Trust’s work across the country, during a short but enlightening presentation from one of the charity’s Trustees, Andy Litton.
Raising £3500 during the event, Enham Trust’s golf day was a huge success – far surpassing the charity’s fundraising expectations – and enabling the Trust to further support even more of their disabled clients in the cornerstone areas of their lives.
To raise more than we anticipated is a tremendous success,” commented Andy Litton. “And means we can support even more disabled people to live the lives they choose; I’d like to thank everyone who attended for their incredible generosity.
All funds raised will go towards the Trust’s ongoing work across the country; supporting over 7,500 disabled and disadvantaged people to live lives of choice, control, and independence.
A huge thank you to Jon Bolton, the photographer who captured the photos of the day for us.
