Are you looking for supported living or support with living independently?
Living independently in your own home or in supported living accommodation can be a daunting prospect for anyone who hasn’t done it before; getting to know a new area, new people, make new friends, and find a new job, as well as getting to grips with all the usual responsibilities that come with running your own home – paying bills, housework, doing your own laundry…
If you’ve never lived on your own, it can seem more than a little scary. But if you have a disability, this can often be even more complicated.
Here at Enham Trust, we understand this; our work ensuring that, at whatever stage you choose to use our services, and in whatever way, we’ll provide you with the care and support you need to achieve your goals and aspirations, and start living independently; moving into your own accessible homes, and finding sustained employment.
Supported living and living independently in your own accessible homes
Whether you require 24 hour care and support in one of our CQC care homes, supported living, support with gaining the life skills needed to start living independently or you feel ready to move straight into your own accessible home, our range of personalised services for disabled people can help you during any point in your journey to greater independence, choice, and control.
As a resident of Enham Trust, every service you use with us is tailored to your personal needs and requirements, and everything we do is focused towards supporting you to be as independent as possible.
Award-winning accessible homes for disabled people
Within any of our award-winning accessible homes in Hampshire for disabled people, we can provide the personalised care and support that’s right for you; supporting you to gain the skills and confidence you need to start living independently.
We offer supported living in a variety of fully accessible homes to disabled people. Our supported living accommodation is largely available in Alexandra House and Weston Court, in one and two bedroom bungalows and apartments which enable you to live in your own home with your own front door.
Care at Home
The support you need at home can be organised with the Enham Trust Care at Home team; 24 hours a day, every day of the week, throughout the year.
As a resident of Enham Trust, you are of course under no obligation to employ our care and support team, and should feel free to employ your own support staff from other agencies if you would like to.
Residential training & moving on
If you would like support with gaining the life skills to live independently – cooking your own meals, doing your own laundry, managing your finances, and all of the usual domestic chores – we can support you with this vital aspect of living independently in any of our award-winning accessible homes.
You may be eligible to access one of our Employment Programmes to help you to get back into the work place and provide you with the skills or training you need in order to do so.
It’s the fulfilment of a dream. I never would have thought I’d have this level of personal independence... It’s the combination of support and services and flexibility here which has worked so well for us.
