Meet Mark

Leading Hampshire-based disability charity Enham Trust supports over 8,500 disabled and disadvantaged people across the country to live lives of choice, control and independence; providing housing, care, and employment & skills provisions to enable individuals to make the transition towards greater social and economic independence.

Listening to, and understanding the individual circumstances of, our beneficiaries is a vital component of our work; allowing us to develop plans that are both personal and relevant.

As part of our plans to build a new state-of-the-art Neurological Rehabilitation Unit and array of accessible homes on our main site by 2017, Enham Trust has renovated 10 accessible apartments, on the historic Cedar Park site.

Each of these 10 apartments offers people looking for respite, short breaks, and rehabilitation stays the space, facilities, and optional care & support they need to enjoy some time away in a safe, supportive, and tranquil environment.

Recently, we were delighted to welcome BBC TV Presenter, Garden Writer, and garden / landscape designer Mark Lane to lead a discussion with our Client Design Panel; preceding which he stayed in one of our Apartments.

Here, he tells us all about his stay:

“We fully enjoyed our experience at Enham Trust and meeting everyone involved."

“The apartments at Enham Trust that both Anna and I stayed in the night before were amazing."

“My profile bed was very comfortable and the staff were so accommodating. We highly recommend them. It was also great to meet some of the residents."

“I hope to visit again very soon.”
