Apply for Housing

Would you like to apply for housing with us?

What happens when you apply?

Households applying for affordable accommodation will be placed into one of five bands on the housing register according to their housing need, and thier position within the band. Applicants with a disability will be placed in higher bands.

Priority is determined by the time spent in that band and whether or not there is housing to match to any vacant property. Further details of the needs being addressed for each band can be found in the Housing Allocations Policy.

Why do we need to prioritise?

The demand of social housing far exceeds the number of homes that Enham Trust has vacant each year. Enham Trust uses a banding scheme to prioritise the many applications we have for social housing. Those with disability in the most need will be given prioity.
