What we are looking for

Employment Services require several people to help support individuals with disabilities to be able to attend and complete courses to help them upskill. Some of our clients have learning disabilities and will need 1-1 support for the course work with the help of reading and writing whilst group learning support maybe needed to give confidence or help overcome anxieties. You will be playing an important role within personal development and helping people to become more independent whilst giving more options about ongoing employment, building confidence and social skills.


Role Overview:

To work with clients who have individual needs on a 1-1 and group basis to support them in completing relevant courses.


What you will be doing?



  • Helping clients overcome personal barriers and anxieties when under taking courses.

  • Support clients with motivation and positivity to complete the courses.

  • Work 1-1 with clients who have learning difficulties, reading the questions and scribing the answers using their own words.

  • Work within small groups with clients to ensure that they are able to comprehend functional skill courses they are under taking.

  • Work alongside Work choice advisor to give full support to clients.

  • Highlight any safeguarding concerns or reasonable adjustments that maybe required to Work Choice advisor.

  • Help give basic IT support to clients where required.

  • Work 1-1 with clients to help them achieve their goals with the support of a Work Choice advisor.
